Persephone and the Pomegranate

Hi all
Have something wonderful to share with you all.
In 2009 Maya of springtree road had an idea. She wanted to spin beads into yarn.
She popped into our shop and found the perfect little red garnet brios.








Her idea was to create a "Persephone and the Pomegranate yarn," with the the garnets as pomegranate seeds. She cultivated the idea, spun, dyed and piled the yarn with the garnets.
